Did you shop for great deals on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?  Or did you observe Buy Nothing Day?

Okay, so maybe I'm not much of a participator, but I LOATHE the Holidays and the shopping.
In fact, I am skipping the holidays this year.  I am not buying anything for anyone, I am asking people not to buy anything for me.  I would love to see family I haven't seen in ages, and spend time eating large meals with friends (this will remind me of Italia) but I hate the cut throat consumer culture I am living in.

and in the spirit of the duality of nature....

I would love to have any one of the things listed above :)

Music-wise, what was the first 45, single or download you bought?

The first 45 I ever bought was Toni Basil's "Hey Mickey" and it was played an a record player that hasn't' been manufactured since the 1970's.

What did you do as a child that you feel guilty about even to this day?

When I was a child I once peed the bed and blamed it on my friend's sister.  I had never peed the bed before that day so I didn't actually believe it was me, but I still feel bad about it.  I stuck a big wad of BubbleYum Grape gum in her shag carpet also.... man, I was an asshole kid.
